All registered users are encouraged to contribute to the content of this portal by posting messages on the forums, introducing forum topics, creating a blog, uploading images and also adding details of useful resources to the bibliography on e-governance and civic engagement.
Click here to see good examples of forums being used for civic engagement and web reports/images being used for civic action.
Registered users can also ask for their existing blogs and websites to be linked to CCEEG. And if your blog or website has an RSS Feed, new content can be announced automatically on CCEEG using the news aggregator.
Click on Add content to actually add content to the CCEEG Portal, or read below if you want advice on how to do this.
To add content, you don't need to know any complex code. You just type ordinary text into the boxes provided for you. Lines and paragraphs break automatically. Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
However, you may wish to add basic formatting using the rich-text editor. If so, click on "enable rich-text" under the text box. This will then provide you with a set of formatting icons (similar to those found in most word processors) above the text box. Please note that for some reason this rich-text editor does not seem to like Interent Explorer, but it works really well with the open source browser Firefox :-)
Any registered user wishing to create a blog, a resource or a forum topic, or to upload an image should refer to the instructions below:
